Atlanta batters had not scored a run in the first two games of their team’s NLDS series against La-La Land, and La-La Land pitchers had not issued a walk in those two games, either. So of course Atlanta’s first run in the series, coming in Game 3 last night, was scored via a La-La Land pitcher surrendering a bases-loaded walk — to the opposing pitcher, no less!
