Why the F not? Good ol’ Mitch will pull himself up by his bootstraps or he will be dead. Either way, this proverbial ‘personal responsibility’ the rightwing Libertariats are so fond of insisting of everybody else, well, then, now it will be insisted upon the putative senior U.S. Senator of the Great Commonwealth of Kentucky! PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY: GIVE ME BOOSTRAPS OR GIVE ME DEATH!

Two birthdays in one week: Mia (5) on Saturday, Ava (1!) today! Mazel & Yom Huledet etc.!

Currently bereft of catchy lede ideas, so here’s some more of the jacarandas (blooming even harder this week!) for your viewing enjoyment. Currently sunny, breezy & mild out here in Southern California, much more comfortable than what the rest of the broiling & swampy country is going through. Regrets!

Impeller & filtration in top shape, bright-colored (as opposed to dark) plaster to prevent algae blooms that are the result of overly heated water

You are looking almost-live at the Executive Swimming Pool at the Home Office & World Headquarters of Cynthia Publishing Co., Studio City / Upper Nichols Canyon, Cailf. The pool’s crystal-clear appearance and organism-free environment make for safe, healthy & enjoyable aquatic fun in the Southern California sun during the warm & bright summer months.

As well, since it’s a swimming pool and since it’s Nichols Canyon and since it’s a swimming pool situated just a couple of hundred feet from Nichols Canyon Road itself, well, we would be remiss in not mentioning the passing of the all-time great artist David Hockney. David Hockney, RIP. RIP, David Hockney.

All right, all right, ya’ big-league hoopball fanatics! Take it easy! Those upstart Gotham Knickerbockers are coming back home to your Big Apple tonight, and while there may be a wannabe king (lowercase) bullying his way into the proceedings, we choose to remember a LEGIT BALLER KING LEGIT BALLER KING!
