Speaking of zugzwang (!) …

Lots of pieces on the board, each in its own private zugzwang, each one ‘spooked and completely distracted’…

Still anticipating a rage-quit for whenever. If (when?) it happens, let’s hope there’s not too much collateral damage, and that only the collection of zugzwanged pieces on the board gets toppled. That’s all we need. Optimally, the fallout would be limited to that, yes, and they wouldn’t knock over the drinks on the table or burn down the gameroom, etc.

Woodbine 5 (Low-Priced Overlay of the Day)
#2 Truly Honoured ($9.70, BestLine Fair Odds 2.36-1)

Not that good tonight at Turfway. The closer is probably the least scrutable, and that would be a good way to go home, with a big longshot win in the bankroll. The opener had a BestLine top pick at 39.4pc probability of winning. Zugzwang!
