Races 5, 6 & 7 at Chas. Town were tabbed as contentious, and Race 5 ran to that billing — with a disqualification, to boot! In the fifth, a no-edge 6-1 horse was declared the winner, with a big 36-1 (BestLine Fair Odds 7-1) moved-up to the second spot, returning $305.20 for the perfecta; the fair pay on that perfecta was $100, with the double-premium on it being $200. Hence the $305.20 constituted good wager value for that exacta on the BestLine.
