Once again we are here to remind you: Nick Foles — all he does is win.
Sorry, Chicagoland. That’s one of the worst beats you can suffer in your city, probably even worse than a negative headbob or a unjustified DQ at Arlington Park. But as the Jawns (Jawns!) in Philalala are fond of also reminding us, sanitized for this here family-style Web log: BIG [RICHARD] NICK. BIG [RICHARD] NICK. Thank you.
Yesterday:
Golden Gate 5
#1 Handful of Pearls ($25.60, BestLine Fair Odds 3.08-1)
Gulf 2
#5 Brenda’s G L P ($29.40, BestLine Fair Odds 4.00-1)
Laurel 4
#2 Correjon ($33.80, BestLine Fair Odds 6.30-1)
Sunland 9
#4 Roll On Diabolical ($20, BestLine Fair Odds 4.95-1)
Aqueduct 1 (Low-Priced Overlay of the Day)
#3 Double Deep ($7, BestLine Fair Odds 1.48-1)
The advisory from yesterday’s post was that that Sunland 9 race was Anarchic for Libertariats; in other words, wild-open, wild-open. Seven horses were entered, and the fifth-choice (according to the public) won; lucky for the BestLiners, that was third-best on the BestLine, Fair Odds of 4.95, calculated edge of 68pc, the only good edge among the five BestLine contenders. This time it worked out, at least in terms of predicting a wild-open race and then seeing the outcome confirmed by the wild-open result. Sometimes.

Today:
Some good opportunities today, but the best of the bunch appear to be Races 5 & 6 at Turf Paradise. In the same vein as the Sunland 9 race yesterday and Race 5 at Chas. Town the day before yesterday (um, that would have been Saturday), the fifth and sixth at Turf Paradise today seem to have that same degree of wild-openness. Wild-openness. Of course, the fave will win some of these, many of these, types of races; but the gamble is there for us to chase. In the end, it’s all about BIG [RICHARD] NICK. BIG [RICHARD] NICK. Thank you.
