R.I.P., Joe McKnight. He was at Southern Cal at the same time young Samuel was an undergrad, and we all saw him play a couple of times over at the Coliseum. Also, we remember cruising around La-La Land with the games airing on the radio, with play-by-play legend Pete Arbogast always insisting on calling him ‘Super Joe’ McKnight.

Strongly hoping that his killer is not a Tulane graduate — strongly hoping this. We want to leave the violence and murder (?) and deplorability to the other schools that talk a good game but whose graduates’ actions and tactics don’t back it up. Thank you.
