Today’s Stakes Pageantry: None today, but your La-La Land Kings travel to the Valley of the Sun this evening to face the Coyotes of Arizona.

Yesterday’s Activity:

Track (Win Mutuels $20+/Gettable)

Aqueduct (3/1) — Race 7 was open to all comers, thanks to Dual Qualifier Princessofthieves (86, 85), who was also atop the noncontentious V6 Betting Line at Fair Odds of 2½-1; she was a stalking-horse throughout, winning by 2¾ at $27.80. Good work.

Chas. Town (3/1) — Race 4 was contentious, but only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads could take advantage of Elcinico, 82 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis; he went gate-to-wire anyway, winning by 1 at $31.20. Good work.

Delta (2/0) — Body found dumped on La. 27 in Hackberry.

Finger (1/1) — Similar scenario as to the Aqueduct commentary, this time in Race 2, this time the horse being Dual Qualifier Four Black Even (97, 89), this time the Fair Odds being 3½-1; he went tail-to-wire to win by 4¾ at $22.60. Good work.

Mahoning (0/0) — Youngstown State extends contract of Jm. Tressel (!), still in the league (!).

PennNat (1/0) — Pegnuins lose it late in Bklyn, 5-3; Sidney Crosby had 2 assists for Pgh.

Remington (3/1½) — Race 7 was for the Old-School Champeens, with Storm Devil at Fair Odds of 6-1 in a contentious lineup; he won by a clean nose at $39-even. Race 8 had the High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads striking back via Dual Qualifier Hannahanna (88, 80), who had to rally like the champion she could have been, winning by 3 at $25-straight. Good work.

Tampa (1/0) — Tesla’s Solar City bringing solar panels to Fla.

Turfway (2/0) — Cincinnati man sentenced to 25 yrs. for selling fentanyl that led to No. Ky. overdose.

Woodbine (0/0) — Maple Leafs blanked at Calgary, 3-nil; Auston Matthews led Toronto with 5 shots.
