Remington 2, 3, 5, 6, 8

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: None today, but the other berth in the NLCS will be determined this evening (EDT) when the La-La Land Doyers visit the Wash., D.C., Nat’ls.

Yesterday’s Activity:

Track (Win Mutuels $20+/Gettable)

Belterra (2/0) — Memorial service announced as family, friends remember boxer Aaron Pryor.

Calder (0/0) — Miami Beach police sergeant infected with Zika virus.

Chas. Town (0/0) — Body of male found along Potomac River in W. Va.

Delpark (2/1) — Another day, another triple-digit win mutuel for the people. This time it was the finale, not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads had a good-enough rating on Swiss Confederate in a sluggish-looking LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; nonetheless, he had to rally very hard to win by 3 parts of a length at $152.80 — not a typo. Good work.

Finger (1/0) — Ontario Co. man charged with abandoning his 2 dogs.

Hawthorne (1/0) — Blackhawks thrashed by visitor St. Louis, 5-2; Richard Panik and Ryan Hartman had the goals for Chicagoland.

Indiana (2/2) — Race 2 was contentious, and Old-School Champeens and High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads alike had a reason for taking on Chromed Out, Fair Odds of 5-1 and with a good-enough rating on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; he went gate-to-wire to win by a clean head at $72.20. In Race 8, only the High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads were eligible to support Colton Fifty One, whose 81 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis was sufficient; he was already in front by the furlong-grounds before winning by 5 at $21.20. Good work.

Keeneland (3/1) — Race 2 was contentious, but no Fair Odds on Eerily meant that only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads could get involved, courtesy of his good 87 on the LifeLiner Speed Column; he was a determined presser all the way around, winning by 2 at $26.20. Good work.

Mountain (0/0) — 1 person hit by tractor-trailer along Rt. 38.

PennNat (0/0) — Penna. Tpke. tollbooths now accepting payment by credit card.

Remington (1/0) — Vandalism suspect targets 2 OKC businesses.

Thistle (3/0) — 3 shot during barbershop robbery attempt.

Woodbine (1/0) — Visiting Maple Leafs lose to Ottawa, 5-4, in OT; Auston Matthews scored all the Toronto goals.
