Here it is, a beautiful blue-sky day above your East (San Fernando) Valley from the vantage point of the Universal City Overlook along Mulholland Drive. It was about 65°F, with a stringent 25 percent relative humidity and a visibility rating of 28 mi., when this panorama was stitched together just after high noon in the crisp & picturesque Golden West. So, you can start to understand why, after checking-in to the proverbial Hotel (Southern) California, you can never leave — not voluntarily, anyway, unless you are one of those Attila the Hun edgelords simply making some kind of performative political/culture-war statement.
