Yea, verily, the Cynthia Publishing Co. Executive Swimming Pool has been closed for the post-summer months for some weeks now, but we are also now starting to feel like ‘winter’s tuning-up’. Nighttime lows dipping into the mid-40s tonight; don’t you pity us out here in La-La Land? No, of course not! Nor should you. But we do miss swimming, which keeps the core strong & balanced and the shoulders broad & brawny!

Beginning again at Ozone Park, N.Y., Race 2 was pulled-in by #3 Antenna (.308 / 2.25 / 2.90) at $9-even. Then in Race 4, #6 Chuck Willis (.515 / 0.94 / 1.33) threw-in a low-priced overlay win at $4.80. Next race there, it was the opposite end of the odds spectrum, with high-priced overlay #5 The Cobbler (.151 / 5.62 / 8.27) bringing his rivals to heel at $95-even; your winning daily double paid $307.50 off a premium price of $43.19. 

From Louisville, Ky., #9 Gigante (.377 / 1.65 / 2.18) came up sufficiently big in Race 11 at an outsized mutuel: $22.06. Next race there, the finale, #6 Bourbon to Blame (.264 / 2.79 / 3.55) won it for sour-mash lovers at $13.04; your winning late daily double paid $106.44 off a premium price of $28.93.
