Man, there’ve been two postseason béisbol games so far, and they’ve both been fantastic examples of why the playoffs make for fine viewing: good, tight starting pitching; neck-and-neck scoring all the way to the late innings; last-gasp, final-swing heroics; you name it. The Gaffer is all smiles

Lots going on today, such as: Vince Cullie, he is gone. Also, Jehovah, Allah, Buddha and all the other chief gods take a moment from their divine duties now to bow to their colleague Yahweh (a k a G-d) to wish Him and all His elect a Happy New Year. Plus, you can never get away from Don Trump Sr., Slick Hillie (or should that be ‘Sick Hillie’, given the many theories being floated by the jittery, twitching folks at whitebarf.com?) and The Aleppo Apprentice on Amurrikan Survivor: The Amazing Race to The Weakest Link — hoo-boy. Yet despite all these fantastical goings-on, the lede as always falls to the Arse F.C., this time owing to their miraculous stoppage-time winner this morning (PDT) against hard-done-by Burnley. Talk about getting pipped at the winning post! Continue reading →

One of the major candidates, you know the one, at least was able to remember the name of that Dear Leader in Rus’. On the other hoof, the flustered guy in this video here could probably rattle off half a dozen varietals of Mother Nature (‘we have THE BEST Mother Nature!’), surely. Smoke if you got ’em!
