Good morning still here on the Left Coast.

Free ones: Rundown…

Belmont 7, 8, 10
Gulfstream Park Proper 6, 9
Santa Anita 2, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11

Pay-side (Weekend/Weekday): Today…

Belterra 5, 8
Churchill 5, 6, 8, 10
Delpark 3, 4, 6, 7
Laurel 3, 6, 8
Retama 4, 5, 7, 8, 9
Remington 5, 7, 8, 9
Woodbine 4, 6, 10

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Belmont 7, 8, 10, Gulfstream 6, Santa Anita 8, 10, 11 on the free page. Churchill 10, Laurel 8 on the pay-side.

If he’s ready, he’s more than talented enough. That would be #5 Runhappy in Churchill 9.

Singling-out #7 Backstage in Gulf 7. In Race 10 there, we sidestep the morning-line fave and go instead with #5 Dude Fantasy, #2 Sweet Tooth Haven. The 12th finds #2 Three Rules as the obvious standout despite the large field.

Woodbine 8 is contentious, and #3 Evil Woman receives the upset call now.

#2 True Cinder seems prohibitive in Thistle 7.

Ditto #2 C U At Eau Claire in Hastings 3. But in Race 6 there, #3 Sailingforthesun can outrun her forecast long odds.

Yesterday’s Activity:

Track (Win Mutuels $20+/Gettable)

Belmont (0/0) — Host Jankees pummeled by Balto., 8-1; Mark Teixeira, still in the league but barely, drove in Nueva Jork’s only run.

Belterra (0/0) — Reds mauled by visitor Cubs, 7-3; Joey Votto had a 2-run HR in the loss.

Churchill (1/0) — Louisville at Clemson in a Top 5 Collegiate American Gridiron Throwball showdown later today.

Chas. Town (2/½) — Old-School Champeens took advantage of a classically contentious V6 Betting Line in Race 5 via Rocket Road, Fair Odds of 6-1; ’Rocket had no LifeLiner backing, but the Old-School Champeens found the 37-1 on the toteboard too enticing, and they saw their underdog go gate-to-wire to win by 1½ at $77.40. Good work.

Gulf (1/0) — Visiting Marlins beat Wash., D.C., 7-4; Christian Yelich had a 2-run HR for Miami.

Hazel (1/0) — Tigers triple-up on host Atlanta, 6-2; Miguel Cabrera had 2 HR and 3 RBI for Detroit.

Indiana (1/1) — Race 4 was not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads alike could not resist Dual Qualifier Thunder Bye (91, 89), who went tail-to-wire to win by 1¾ at $30.40. Good work.

Los Alamitos (0/0) — Los Angeles de Los Angeles y Anaheim & El Condado de Las Naranjas clobber visitor Houston, 7-1; Andrelton Simmons had 2 RBI in the victory.

Lethbridge (0/0) — Lethbridge rehab centre denail frustrates recovering addict.

Laurel (0/0) — See Belmont commentary.

Northlands (0/0) — Fans face issues with views at Rogers Place.

PennNat (1/0) — Fightin’ Phils lose at Metropolitans, 5-1; Cameron Rupp drove-in Philalala’s only run.

Pleasanton (2/0) — Giants triple-up on visitor La-La Land, 9-3; Brandon Belt had a 3-run HR for San Francisco.

Retama (1/0) — Tim Duncan shows up at Spurs practice.

Santa Anita (2/2) — Publicly touted Banze No Oeste appealed to High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads via an OK 83 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; he had to rally (and hard!) though, winning by a clean nose at $50-even. In the finale, Holy lUTE could not be publicly touted due to his low morning-line odds; however, Old-School Champeens, High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads one and all were able to back him at 10-1 on the toteboard. ’lUTE was top of the conventional V6 Betting Line at Fair Odds of 4-1 in a contentious race; as well, he had a competitive 88 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis. He won by 1¼ at $23.40. Good work.

Thistle (3/½) — The finale was contentious, and Old-School Champeens had Fair Odds of 4-1 on Gotta Make Payroll, who had no LifeLiner backing; ’Payroll won by 2¼ at $34.40. Good work.

Woodbine (1/1) — Old-School Champeens, High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads alike had reasons to support Valid N Gold in Race 8; the Old-Schoolers had Fair Odds of 5-1 on her in a contentious race; as well, ’Gold was a Dual Qualifier (74, 70) in the balance of the modestly talented field. She rallied like the champion she’s on her way to becoming, winning by 1¼ at $55.30. Good work.
