Ring the bell!

At the start of this week, your phightin’ Philalala Phillies were facing a potentially stern test, hosting the trade-deadline-boosted American League playoff-contending Seattle Mariners for a three-game series. The teams looked evenly matched on paper ahead of Monday night’s opener, but by the time series ended this afternoon, the Mariners were the ones getting not only tested, but wholly bested, completely crested & altogether molested. It was a rout in favor of the Philadelphians, with the aggregate scoreline coming in at 29-13.
