Trying to return to the workaday world here, but still fighting off some effects of extended jet-lag, lack of tropical libations & serious symptoms of withdrawing from guava & ono & Kauai shrimp, the latter two of which are the main ingredients in the dish in today’s photo lede. Those Kauai shrimp, man, not at all rubbery or bland, sweet & buttery, tender and nearly flaky, tending toward lobster! Aloha!

Today, for example, in the midst of the ‘Soul Serenade’ show, the presenter interrupted the usual flow of the programme with a double-shot of Black Sabbath in honor of the passing of Mistah Ozzy Osbourne Snr. Yup. ‘Iron Man’ followed by, of course, ‘Crazy Train’. Salute, WWOZ!
