Lots & lots of housekeeping to carry-out now…

Going all the way back to Friday evening’s late-issues: at Opelousas, La., #1 Broadway Star (.368 Win Prob / 1.72-1 Fair Odds / 2.18-1 Premium Odds) got top billing in Race 7 at $6.20; at Grantville, Penna., #2 Bronx Boys (.444 / 1.25 / 1.64) won Race 7 for the Jankees at $5.40; at Altoona, Iowa, #4 Swift as I Am (.193 / 4.18 / 5.06) was swifter than the rest in Race 5 at $13.80; in Race 8 there, #7 Sugah Down (.274 / 2.65 / 3.27) got the candy at $18.40; #10 Muffin Thief (.226 / 3.42 / 4.18) completed your winning $42.60 exacta whose premium price was $33.87.

Now let’s go to Saturday

At Cincinnati, Race 5 went to #2 Toastmaster (.339 / 1.95 / 2.54) won it for public-speaking clubs the world over at $10.40.

Another Race 5, this time at Louisville, Ky., where #2 Supercharger (.112 / 7.93 / 10.16) and #6 Swerve (.145 / 5.90 / 7.07) combined on your winning $164.92 exacta whose premium price was $163.98.

#7 Arie Ferrari (.202 / 3.95 / 4.94) sped into the Chas. Town, W.Va., winner’s circle in Race 6 at $12.80. Then in your Race 8 finale, #2 Ur Fabulous (.567 / 0.76 / 1.01) was just that herself at $9-even.

Up to the Great White North now for Race 5 from Edmonton, Alta., which had #4 Quality Command (.238 / 3.20 / 4.04) and #5 February (.219 / 3.57 / 4.48) combining on your winning $58.30 exacta whose premium price was $44.27.

Slightly back south for the third from Auburn, Wash., for #6 Classic Cinema (.249 / 3.02 / 3.82) and #5 Fraser Landing (.214 / 3.67 / 4.61) combining on your winning $49.36 exacta whose premium price was $42.86). In Race 5 there, #2 Ole’s Surprise (.335 / 1.99 / 2.58) posted a mild one at $8.26; completing your winning $23.20 exacta was #7 Lead the Charge (.344 / 1.91 / 2.49), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $18-even.

To Collinsville, Ill., now for Race 2, which was won by #1 Isabel Ludlow (.437 / 1.29 / 1.61) at $7.40. In Race 5 there, it was #3 Danville (.422 / 1.37 / 1.70) winning it for California or Virginia or Kentucky or Illinois or some other similar state at $8.20.

#5 Lucky Win Coco (.340 / 1.94 / 2.44) also possessed sufficient skill on Hallandale Beach, Fla.’s Race 4 at $8.80. Two races later there, #3 Celtic Dispute (.410 / 1.44 / 1.85) won it for the Glasgow Bhoys at $7.60; completing your winning $17.40 exacta was #8 Skara Brae (.427 / 1.34 / 1.74), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $10.13.

Over to Altoona, Iowa, where your opener went to #1 Night Birdie (.275 / 2.64 / 3.36) at $11.20. In Race 3, #1 In the Mix (.350 / 1.86 / 2.26) got in his licks at $7.60.

In the third on the Etobicoke Int’l. programme, #3 Cayenne Kiss (.231 / 3.33 / 4.19) was too hot to handle at $13.20.

Finally getting around to yesterday (Sunday) now…

At Auburn, Wash., the opener went to the aptly named #1 Great Runner (.284 / 2.52 / 3.23) at $8.22. In Race 6, #5 Cause for Divorce (.218 / 3.59 / 4.37) provided grounds for celebration at $20.94; next race there, #6 Afjan (.259 / 2.86 / 3.52) won it for Isfahan Province, Iran, at $9.50; your winning $69.40 daily double had a premium price of $48.54.

#7 Power Humor (.243 / 3.12 / 3.81) had the last laugh in Hallandale Beach, Fla., Race 5 at $10.20.

At Stickney, Ill., Race 4 found #2 Red Moscato (.257 / 2.89 / 3.55) displaying sturdy legs and a smooth finish at $9-even.

The third from Laurel, Md., featured your winning $61.40 exacta via #7 Hysterics (.249 / 3.02 / 3.58) atop #9 Hotter Than Fire (.142 / 6.04 / 7.45); the premium price there was $60.50.

The Race 8 finale at New Cumberland, W.Va., had #3 He’s a Shooter (.303 / 2.30 / 2.86) and #7 Boldness (.205 / 3.88 / 5.10) combining on your winning $39.80 perfecta whose premium price was $34.89.

At Oceanport, N.J., #7 Couches Burning (.264 / 2.79 / 3.32) won Race 4 for VP JV Dance at $9.40. In the sixth, #3 Tickin Time Blonde (.209 / 3.78 / 4.74) won it for Sydney Sweeney at $18.60.

#1 The Big Cheeseola (.241 / 3.15 / 3.85) won Race 6 at Arcadia, Calif., for Wisconsin mammoth cheddar at $13.60.

From Etobicoke Int’l., #6 Brachetto (.328 / 2.05 / 2.66) won Race 5 for Piedmont wine grapes at $7.40. In Race 8, #6 Piper’s Factor (.343 / 1.92 / 2.32) won it for Heidsieck at $7.90.

We’ve reached our VQ (Vomit Quotient) with these recaps. There are some to report from today (Monday), but they’ll have to wait until tomorrow (Tuesday).
