Friday, and for a long time in the Delaware Valley, and then later on via syndication, Friday meant ‘Friday with Frank’ as presented by the gentleman in today’s video lede: Mistah Sid Frank. His flagship station was the old WWDB-FM 96.5, a reactionary talk-radio outlet that undoubtedly was a precursor to the fashy AM radio of the 1990s and beyond. But on Friday night, and a couple of days later (via ‘Sunday with Sinatra’), it was going to be Sid Frank taking down the rhetorical temperature with the immortal sounds of what they used to call ‘easy listening’.
