Some post-press-time connections to report from last night’s (Monday’s) late action: At St. James-Winnipeg, Man., #6 Keystone Cash (.319 Win Prob / 2.13-1 Fair Odds / 2.76-1 Premium Odds) won Race 5 for the Commonwealth of Penna. at $10-even; completing your winning $17.20 exacta was #1 Pickin’ Riffs (.513 / 0.95 / 1.34), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $12.91. At New Cumberland, W.Va., Race 8, the finale, saw #3 Beyond Gone (.189 / 4.29 / 6.41) and #6 Dyrdek (.209 / 3.78 / 5.70) combine on your winning $90-even exacta whose premium price was $85.89. At Altoona, Iowa, #4 Sugar Bell (.190 / 4.26 / 6.37) rang-up the surprise in Race 9 at $25.80; completing your winning $114.60 exacta was #2 Musical Diva (.296 / 2.38 / 3.05), with the premium price on that $51.59.

As for today (Tuesday), some of the races went like this…

Starting as we frequently do in The Empire State of New York, specifically the municipality of Canandaigua, the opener went to #1 Colten Goes (.178 / 4.62 / 6.87) at $27.20.

From Bossier City, La., Race 3 went to #7 Foolish STEVE (!) (.248 / 3.03 / 3.84) at $11.80. Next race there, #3 Bad Brad (.379 / 1.64 / 2.17) was nonetheless good enough at $8.20; completing your winning $34.80 exacta was #4 Native Requite (.196 / 4.10 / 6.14), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $30.98. As well, your winning $51.20 daily double had a premium price of $30.68.

Race 2 on the New Cumberland, W.Va., card had #7 Takechargejustice (.124 / 7.06 / 10.29) running to that billing, bending the moral arc of the toteboard via a $35.80 win mutuel.
