2007J!TOCInvitation

One and done…no good, Chollie, no good…

Back at the champeen’s podium now, Podium No. 1. Thank you for waiting. Set phasers to stun. Shoot lasers, right-thumb!

It takes some craziness to say you have played at all three podiums/podia. Hard to do! Nutskull!

Free ones: Rundown…

Belmont 4, 6, 7, 9
Gulfstream Park Proper 1, 8, 9
Santa Anita 8

Pay-side (Weekend/Weekday): Today…

BelTerra 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8
Churchill 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
Golden Gate 7
Laurel 1, 2, 5, 9

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Churchill 9 on the pay-side. Next race there, and #8 Buy Sell Hold should be OK.

Yesterday’s Activity:

Belmont (1/0) — Host Jankees beat Toronto, 8-6, move into first place in AL East; Aaron Judge went 3-for-5 with a solo HR, his 13th (!) of the season for Nueva Jork.

Churchill (2/1) — Race 8 was contentious, but only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads saluted Lieutenant Seany O, second-best 97 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis; he rallied like the champion he should have been, winning by a clean nose at $21.20. Good work.

Chas. Town (1/½) — Old-School Champeens alone were in on top selection Schlosser, Fair Odds of 2½-1 in a contentious Race 7; he won clear by 2½ at $20.40. Good work.

Gulf (0/0) — Visiting Marlins beat Tampa Bay in all-Fla. clash, 10-6; J.T. Realmuto drove-in 4 for the winners.

Indiana (0/0) — Indpls. mayor declares Thursday ‘Star Wars Day’.

Thistle (4/4) — Race 5 was contentious, but only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads talked turkey with Dual Qualifier Bosphorous Storm (81, 83); he rallied like the champion he should have been, winning by 1½ at $22.40. Race 6 also was contentious, but again only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads tasted the nectar of Dual Qualifier Honey Smacks (91, 84); she rallied like the champion she should have been, winning by a clean head at $29.40. Race 7 also was contentious, but all comers put a ring around Blingitonagain, Fair Odds of 3-1 and a Dual Qualifier (91, 95), to boot; he went gate-to-wire to win by a clean neck at $25.80. The $1 pick 3 paid $1,497. Race 8 was not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads envisioned the winner’s circle photo containing Shutter Shock, 87 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis; he rallied like the champion he should have been, winning by 3 parts of a length at $52.40. The $1 daily double paid $178.60, the $1 pick 3 paid $3,536.50; the 50¢ pick 4 paid off on 3-of-4, $229.15. Good work.
