The final match of Week 2 of your 2026-27 English Premier League season took place today with your No. London Arse traveling to the midlands for the always tricky challenge presented by Aston Villa at Villa Park. It was goalless at the end of the first half and for nearly a quarter of an hour at the start of the second half. But almost at the stroke of the hour-mark, starboy/starman/talisman Bukayo Saka found Riccardo Calafiori’s sliding cross arriving on-time at his right boot at the mouth of the Villa goal, and he slotted home at the near post to give the visitors their famous 1-nil to The Arsenal scoreline and all three points for the win. Two goals in two games for Saka, and two wins in two matches so far for the Gunners, who have yet to concede a goal. As always, #COYG.

Some post-bedtime issues to report from last night’s (Sunday’s) late action: at New Cumberland, W.Va., back-to-back jacks — in Race 2, #2 Ozzy (.289 Win Prob / 2.46-1 Fair Odds / 2.94-1 Premium Odds) won it for Australia & Black Sabbath at $13.20; next race there, #1 Black Bety (.191 / 4.24 / 5.28) won it for Ram Jam & bam-ba-lam at $13.20; at Altoona, Iowa, it was #5 Airo Dinero (.305 / 2.28 / 2.84) getting the ’murrikan cash money in Race 8 at $9.40.

Now, some of the races today (Monday) turned-out this way…

At Canandaigua, N.Y., #6 Lipan Law (.267 / 2.75 / 3.49) won Race 5 for Apache jurisprudence at $13.68; completing your winning $24.80 exacta was #4 Early On (.413 / 1.42 / 1.76), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $19.26. Then in your Race 8 finale, #5 Doc Advantage (.148 / 5.76 / 7.11) maintained his winning edge at $22.80.

#8 Sugar Princess (.191 / 4.24 / 5.13) and #6 Miss Tifeye (.292 / 2.42 / 2.90) combined on your winning $44-even exacta whose premium price was $40.01 — this was in Cornwells Hts., Penna.’s Race 6.

Over to the other end, the western edge, of your Keystone State, the Commonwealth, for Race 4 at Erie, where #3 Ready Munny (.400 / 1.50 / 1.93) won it for the old heads at a sorry-not-sorry $6.20.

Finally, to No. Randall, Ohio, for Race 2, which had a couple of heavily backed firsters, allowing old head #5 Ati Mint (.254 / 2.94 / 3.61) to win it for the experienceds at sorry-not-sorry $17.20.
