30 years on now today…

Last of the milestone commemorations today, which marks 30 (!) years since the fatal trainwreck near Chase, Md. Sometimes, you just get lucky. And, in the end, that could be enough.

As well, it is sufficient to remember, in the new-age fuzziness of today: You are exactly where you are meant to be. Shantih, shantih, shantih. Allahu akbar: God is great. Take-in the journey, derailments and collisions and all. As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Sunland (1/1) — Race 5 was not contentious, and only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads could delight in Dandy Pleasure, a fine 87 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; this one did go gate-to-wire to win by 1½ at $22.80. Good work.
