Yesterday’s Activity:

Track (Win Mutuels $20+/Gettable)

Aqueduct (3/3) — Race 5 was contentious, but only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads had a chance with My Good Venezuela, a barely qualifying 80 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; she had to rally before taking over at the furlong-grounds and winning by 1 at $22.60. In Race 6, also contentious, all players had debutante Catcher in the Sky, Fair Odds of 4-1 and with a connection-line/slashline readout of 27pc/22pc/33pc; she went gate-to-wire to win by 4½ at $21.80. Race 7 was another contentious one, but only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads had Pussy Willow, a low-end 82 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; she had to rally — but hard, too! — before winning by 2 at $28.80. As well, the natural double covering Races 5 and 6 paid $307.50 (for $2); the natural double covering Races 6 and 7 paid $325.50 (also for $2); and the pick-3 for your Races 5, 6 and 7 paid $7,503-even (again for $2). Good work.

Churchill (1/0) — Construction on Ohio River Bridges Downtown Crossing complete.

Calder (1/1) — Dual Qualifier Famous Fact (97, 84) was good for High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads in a noncontentious Race 2; he went gate-to-wire to win by a clean neck at $22-straight. Good work.

Chas. Town (0/0) — I-81 wreck causes delays.

Delta (2/1) — Race 7 was contentious, but only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads had a pulse on Night Parade, who had an eking-out rating on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; she had to rally, though, winning by 1 at $23.40. Good work.

Del Mar (2/0) — SWAT situation in El Cajon.

Finger (1/1) — The finale was not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads had an OK 88 on the LifeLiner Speed Column on Wise Guide; he rallied like the champion he should have been, winning by a clean neck at $34.20. Good work.

Golden Gate (0/0) — Visiting Warriors trounce Boston, 104-88; The City’s Klay Thompson led all scorers with 28 pts.

Hawthorne (1/1) — Race 2 was not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads had a barely sufficient 81 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis on Shaker Maker, who went gate-to-wire to win by 1¼ at $95.60. Good work.

Los Alamitos (0/0) — Visiting Clippers beat Sac’to, Northern Cal., Sac’to, Northern Cal., 121-115; Blake Griffin had 29 pts. for La-La Land.

Laurel (1/0) — Host Capitals blank Detroit, 1-nil; Braden Holtby turned-back all 25 shots on the Wash., D.C., goal.

PennNat (1/0) — Visiting Penguins edge Bklyn., 3-2, in OT; Kris Letang scored the gamewinner.

Retama (1/1) — Race 5 was contentious, and Precious Play had a field-best 84 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis for the High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads; however, she had to rally like the champion she’s on her way to becoming, winning by 3 parts of a length at $25.40. Good work.

Remington (3/1) — Finally, one for the Old-School Champeens, courtesy of Look At It, Fair Odds of 5-1, in a contentious Race 5; he won by 2½ at $21.40. Good work.

Woodbine (2/1) — Race 8 was not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads had a fine 87 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis on Badjeros Boy, who rallied to win by a clean half-length at $21.50. Good work.
