Slick

Edmonton’s Darnell Nurse (25) scored, but his teammate Connor McDavid did not, though the latter did display some deft stickhandling and nimble skatework, in last night’s contest at the arena downtown; La-La Land won, 4-2.

No anti-Trump protests to report, no outward displays of White Nationalism, either. La-La Land accepting all its citizens. Allahu akbar.

Free ones: Rundown…

Yesterday’s Activity:

Tracks (Win Mutuels $20+/Gettable)

Aqueduct (1/1) — Contentious Race 5 for the High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads, thanks to Ocala Jim, 88 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis; he rallied to win by a clean neck at $22.20. Good work.

Churchill (3/0) — No. 5 Louisville trounced at Houston, 36-10; Cardinals QB Lamar Jackson completed 46pc of his pass attempts.

Calder (0/0) — Panthers thrashed at Toronto, 6-1; Aaron Ekblad had the Fla. goal.

Chas. Town (1/1) — Race 5 was contentious amongst the experienceds, and Lies and Scandals appealed to all players, Fair Odds of 6-1 and a qualifying 81 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis; she went gate-to-wire anyway, winning by 2½ at $22-even. Good work.

Delta (2/1) — Win via DQ in a noncontentious Race 4 via Dancewithaprince, the bare minimum 80 hanging out in his LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; he was a forward factor throughout before finishing 4¾ behind the unofficial winner and 3¼ clear of the rest; he was awarded the victory at $35.20. Good work.

Del Mar (1/0) — Body found in National City canal.

Finger (1/1) — Dual Qualifier Smart Thinking (80, 91) was in a noncontentious Race 5 for the High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads; he went gate-to-wire to win by 2½ at $25.80. Good work.

Golden Gate (0/0) — Sharks edged at St. Louis, 3-2; Logan Couture and Kevin Labanc with the San Jose goals.

Hawthorne (2/2) — Race 7 was not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads were OK anyway with Dual Qualifier Classy Student (85, 80); she had to rally like the champion she should have been, though, winning by 3 parts of a length at $40.80. In Race 8, contentious this time, only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads could take advantage of Admiral Sean, a field-best 87 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; he indeed went gate-to-wire to win by 2 at $37.80. As well, the natural daily double paid $895-straight, for $2. Good work.

PennNat (2/0) — Host Flyers beat Winn., 5-2; Philalala’s Sean Couturier had a goal and was named the game’s First Star.

Remington (0/0) — Man arrested for throwing rocks at Devon Tower, causing $70k in damage.
