Calder (2/0) — Panthers lose at Wash., D.C., 4-2; Jared McCann and Reilly Smith had the Florida goals.

Chas. Town (2/1) — Contentious opener for the Old-School Champeens, thanks to Fair Odds of 4-1 on Yes It’s Betts, a 2¼-length winner at $28-even. Race 8 was the same theme, with Sterlings Bailero on top free-and-clear and Fair Odds of 3½-1; he won by 1¾ at $52.80. Good work.

Hawthorne (2/2) — High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads were all right with Dual Qualifier Silver Liner (99, 90) in a contentious Race 2; she went gate-to-wire to win by 3½ at $21-even. In Race 8, also contentious, Scitech had a competitive 88 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis; he rallied mildly to win by 6 at $37.60. Good work.

Los Alamitos (0/0) — Clippers romp in San Antonio, 116-92; Blake Griffin led all scorers with 28 pts.

Laurel (3/1) — High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads took part in a contentious Race 6 via Unaquoi, whose 83 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis was sufficient; she went gate-to-wire to win by 2¼ at $20.60. Good work.

Mountain (0/0) — Dog dies in overnight apartment fire.

Mahoning (2/1½) — Race 2 was classically contentious for the Old-School Champeens and their hero, Indygo Cat, Fair Odds of 6-1; he rallied to win by 2¼ at $23.80. In Race 5, wildly contentious, the Old-Schoolers were joined by the High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads on Grand Slam Kid, Fair Odds of 6-1 and also with a good-enough 80 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; he went gate-to-wire to win by 4½ at $26.40. Good work.

PennNat (2/½) — Pendulum swinging back to the Old-School Champeens now in Race 7, contentious with Bullagion at Fair Odds of 4½-1; he won at $34.20. Good work.

Keystone (2/1) — Race 8 was contentious, with all types of players in on Untethered, Fair Odds of 4-1 and in possession of a field-best 90 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; he went gate-to-wire to win by 3 at $22-straight. Good work.

Santa Anita (2/1) — Dual Qualifier Tourist (85, 88) was the winner of a contentious Race 11; he rallied to win by a clean half-length at $26.80. Good work.

Turf Paradise (2/0) — One man stabbed in Phoenix following dispute between roommates.

Woodbine (3/2) — Race 2 was contentious, and Sine Metu satisfied the High-Octane Chancers and Progressive Minded Eggheads with his bare-minimum 80 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis; he rallied to win by 8¾ at $32.50. In Race 9, contentious, first-timer My Way Tapper had Fair Odds of 4-1 and a connection-line/slashline readout of 14pc/14pc/17pc; he rallied like the champion he’s on his way to becoming, winning by a clean head at $20.70.
