Faster than Zippie Chippie
Good morning (PDT) still.
Free ones: Rundown…
Belmont 4, 7, 9
Gulfstream Park Proper 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8
Santa Anita 5, 8
Pay-side (Weekend/Weekday): Today…
Arlington 3, 4, 7, 8
Belterra 4
Ellis Park 3
Louisiana 2, 3, 6
Lone Star 5, 7
Monmouth 8
Woodbine 5, 7, 8, 9
Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Assiniboia (!) 6 finds #10 Ben Bolt and #4 C. C. Ride in with longshot chances. Also open, wild-open, even, in Prairie 8: #7 Courageous Sue, #2 Mingo Native and #5 Kinzer are among the quick.
Yesterday’s Activity:
Track (Winning Mutuels $20+/Gettable)
Arlington (0/0) — Cubs edged at home by Atlanta, 4-3, in 11 inns.; Willson Contreras had 3 hits and 2 RBIs in the loss.
Belterra (0/0) — Norwood apartment building gutted by flames.
Canterbury (0/0) — Twins larrup host Tejas, 10-1; Max Kepler and Kurt Suzuki homered in the win.
Chas. Town (4/1) —

Race 4 was classically contentious, and it could have been skinned by High-Octane Chancers, Old-School Champeens and Progressive-Minded Eggheads alike. Sparkling Jewel was second-best on the conventional V6 Betting Line at Fair Odds of 4½-1, and he was a Dual Qualifier (84, 91) too. ’Jewel stayed in touch throughout before wearing ’em down late to win by a clean head at $21-even. Good work.
Delpark (0/0) — 3rd shooting in Wilmington Thurs. night critically injures man.
Evangeline (2/1) — Race 5 was hyper-contentious now, and Lip Service had your field-best 87 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; he went gate-to-wire to win by 3 parts of a length at $27-straight. Good work.
Finger (1/0) — Zika concern grows; cases confirmed in Finger Lakes region.
Fair Meadows (1/0) — Tulsa ‘Peace Walk’ planned in response to shootings, ambush.
Gulf (0/0) — Siblings arrested in $24M drug bust, largest money seizure in Miami-Dade Police history.
Indiana (2/1) — Not really contentious, Race 7, but High-Octane Chancers noticed that Raise Your L Up was a Dual Qualifier (93, 87); ’L had to rally, but she won anyway, by 1, at $45.80 up top. Good work.
Louisiana (1/0) — Shreveport vigil for Alton Sterling postponed.
PennNat (3/0) — Fightin’ Phils whipped by host Colorado, 11-2; Ryan Howard, still in the league, barely, probably out of sympathy and economic and contractual surrender, hit his 12 HR of the season for Philalala.
Presque (0/0) — Voodoo Brewing Co. denied permit.
Prairie (3/0) — 8 Iowa restos named in credit-card breach.
