Still in the game…

For our long-lost buddie Ned Reldem, Esq., one of his favorites from days gone by, the beautiful and talented Jill Arrington.

Ms. Arrington and her daughter were playing tennis on the public court alongside ours one day over at the world-famous Beeman Park here in Studio City. Joining later was her niece, Miss Elle Fanning. All very lovely and gracious people, True Southern Charm, even with all that illustriousness.

Free ones: Rundown…

Yesterday’s Activity:

Track (Win Mutuels $20+/Gettable)

Aqueduct (2/2) — Both publicly touted: Race 4’s top-touted Overawe, $22-even, and Race 8’s Crazy Love, $50.50. The former was a qualifier via his 82 in the LifeLiner Spread Column in a contentious race among the experienceds; he ran to type, going gate-to-wire to win by a clean half-length. The latter was one of ’em Dual Qualifiers (83, 85) on the LifeLiner Speed Column and LifeLiner Spread Columns, respectively, and won by 3 clear lengths. Mark ’em up! Not quite the same ROI as a degree from Trump Sr. Univ., but better than the dividend from the Christy Christy Campaign.

Chas. Town (2/½) — First-timer Groom Scholarship had a connection-line readout of 17pc/14pc/19pc in Race 5. High-Octane Chancers would have pounced on it for a $50.20 win mutuel off the DQ, despite the the race’s not being contentious. Half a get.

Delta (1/0) — Pelicans lose at home to Spurs, 94-86; Eric Grodin had 23 in the loss.

Fair Grounds (1/½) — One of ’em Old School Triumphs for the classicists. La Majestique won Race 9 as the strict top of the top of the conventional V6 Betting Line, Fair Odds of 3-1 in a contentious race. La Majestique had no backing LifeLiner numbers, but won anyway at $24-straight up top.

Golden Gate (0/0) — Warriors secure 55th victory in Game 60 of the season, defeating Thunder in Oakland, 121-106; Steph Curry had a game-high 33 for the winners, who are unbeaten in their last 44 at home.

Gulfstream (0/0) — Host Heat melt Suns, 108-92; Dwyane Wade scored 27 for Miami.

Oaklawn (3/0) — Razorback women suffer 68-51 road loss to Tennessee in second round of SEC tourney; Devin Cosper led all scorers with 20 for Arkansas.

PennNat (0/0) — Flyers, on cusp of insinuating themselves into the Eastern Conference Wild Card chase, suffer 4-0 embarrassment at home to lowly Oilers; none of the goals was scored by Connor McDavid.

Santa Anita (2/1) — Thanksgiving Day took the fourth at $23.60 in — according to V6 — a noncontentious race. Still, High-Octane Chancers would not have been deterred, citing the qualifying 86 for ’Thanksgiving on the LifeLiner Spread Column.
