Looking down on the Entertainment-Industrial Complex that is your San Fernando Valley.

Free ones: Rundown…

Aqueduct 6, 7
Gulfstream Park Proper 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11
Santa Anita 4, 5, 8

Pay-side (Weekend/Weekday): Today…

Fair Grounds 4, 5, 7
Sam Houston 5, 6, 9

Turfway 2, 5, 9, 10

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Sunland Park is back in action today. Huzzah! Schumpeter may have led to Hollypark’s destruction, but equine herpes could not bring down Sunland. Huzzah! Even so, equine herpes > > > > > > > BetFail.

Looks OK for the obvious #6 K P Wildcat here in Race 5. However, the chalk goes away in the ninth, and we go instead with #1 Cattle Company and #9 Concord Fast.

Yesterday’s Activity:

Track (Win Mutuels $20+/Gettable)

Aqueduct (0/0) — Blueshirt Rangers score the gamewinner on a Lundqvist save followed by a quick strike off the ensuing 200-foot counteroffensive sprint. Good game.

Chas. Town (1/0) — W. Va. Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin.

Delta (0/0) — La. Gov. John Bel Edwards.

Fair Grounds (1/0) — See Delta commentary.

Golden Gate (1/0) — Calif. Gov. Edmund Gerald Brown.

Gulf (2/0) — Fla. Gov. Richard Lynn Scott.

Oaklawn (1/0) — Ark. Gov. Wm. Asa Hutchinson.

PennNat (1/1) — Thank you, Calzini Rossi. You won Race 4 at $25.20. Your race was wildly contentious (three horses each receiving Fair Odds of 6-1 on the conventional V6 Betting Line), and you were a Dual Qualifier at 85-88 on the LifeLiner Speed and LifeLiner Spread column analyses, respectively.

Santa Anita (1/0) — See Golden Gate commentary.

Tampa (0/0) — See Gulf commentary.

Turfway (2/2) — Neither upsetter was publicly touted, but here goes anyway. Profitress won the third at $30.40; the race was not nominally contentious, thereby concluding the real-life advisory. However, she was a Dual Qualifier (94-82), and the High-Octane Chancers probably were going to play this one. Good job. Bandar won the fifth at $24-even; again, this race was not nominally contentious. Nonetheless, Bandar had the sufficient 83 in the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis, and the High-Octane Chancers prevailed again. Good job again.
