Nerds! Sorry, but we saw only one of these films, the one with Yoda and The Ewoks triumphantly singing ‘Kumbaya’ at the end. Maybe tie-fighters were also involved; it’s hard to remember. It was dark and there was a lot of underage drinking beforehand and during. When it was finished, we never bothered to go back for any of the previous or following episodes, either, so why ruin a good thing and start watching them today? That said, Meco is #1 always. Meco appeals to everybody.

Besides, why get all geeked-out about various imaginary galaxies and battles etc. when there are so many real and fascinating places and events to study, places and events that exist and that actually happened, and that you can talk about when you encounter living and breathing human beings who might not have heard of Comic-Con! The way you do it is switch off the DVD player, wipe the drool off your chin and open an encyclopædia or almanac — World Book is more than good enough! Then you can try to venture outside the dank and dark realm of the basement and so forth. Give it a try! And then when you feel really confident, pick up a frisbee or a Wiffle® bat and work on engaging in a gait a little faster than a shuffle, maybe trying to improve your hand-eye coordination at the same time! You gotta start somewhere!

However, Meco is #1 always. We have no issues with you for being a monomaniacal Meco fan, certainly.

Yesterday’s Activity: No good, José Mourinho, no good. Vale! Also faring poorly, Martie Shkreli. As well, The Affluenza Fugitive might still get what’s due him, as long as law enforcement can outrun The Money; 50-50 battle there. Anonymous is doing its job without exerting any real pressure. They are better than we think; hope they don’t take our Star Wars jabs too personally, otherwise we may end up targets of their bloodthirsty Human Search Engine!
