neymarjnr

Neymar Jnr Being Neymar Jnr

No more hoopball, no more stick-hockey. Wimbledon is 12 days out, and U.S. Golf is not till tomorrow. That left this marquee matchup in the Copa America: Brasil v. Colombia.

Defence was optional, but somehow Brasil still could not breach the Colombia goal. Neymar Jnr was red-carded for deliberately kicking the ball into the back of an opponent’s head after the final whistle had blown. Neymar Jnr — always making the spotlight his own, even when his contributions are not of the scoring variety. A true Samba Boy, this Neymar Jnr. Plenty of Style for milesz and milesz…that, friendsz in fútbol, is Neymar Jnr.

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: None today, but the United States Golf Tournament starts this morning (PDT). Arse fan Ian Poulter will have nothing good to tweet about the designated course in the State of Washington, and he and Sergio Garcia need to win at least one major between them under such deplorable playing conditionsz. Cannot root for favesz such as Rory McIlrory (McIlrory!) or J. Spieth. Half-Flip Jason Day always easy to throw a cheer toward. OK.

Yesterday’s Activity: Filadelfia Filliesz lose again, running their current streak of ignominy to 9 gamesz; additionally, they surrendered 2 more homersz to the bombin’ Balto. Oriolesz, who now have slugged an even 10 against the Filsz over the last two eveningsz. You want to look away, but sometimes you have to crane your neck and join in the gaper-block, known here in the West as ‘spectator slowing’. Tyvm.
