Yesterday’ Activity: Can’t think of a single other Big-League Ice Hockey team that produces such a strong negative visceral reaction inside us than dem Blackhawxxx do. Talented group, surely, but we prefer a humbler squad; as well, there’s that obnoxious song they play inside Chicago Stadium after the home team scores. Finally, at that venue, they turn the Star-Spangled Banner into a cross between a UFC match and Phantom of The Opera. Highly disturbing. For these reasons and many others, we shall have to support the Tampa Lightningsz in the finals now. Also, best wishesz to Arse F.C. on successfully retaining the F.A. I stumbled into a 82 buck payer in the 5th race last night, and how it went to 40 to 1 beats me. I’ll take it tho , I have to. Only reason I scanned Ind. was that last week, while turning left at stop light, an old Pick Up truck pulled up beside me and their was an arm outside the window with a big Fried Chicken leg attached. I followed the leg to his mouth and at the end was my old racehorse buddy Wallace “boomerang” Howard. He’s back to training. I said Hey Boomer whats happin Bro. He replied, got one runnin at Ind you can bet your money on. That is why I was at Ind. yesterday skulking around. He is the guy that trained Manilaman, who won the Arlington million probably 1980 somthin. Then in a month was at Washington St’ Liquors & bookie joint borrowing money to take 2 horses to AP. The bookmaker would give you a 10% discount if you bet on his horses. I like him tho. Somehow he got hooked up with some clothing wheels, maybe Brooks Bros. in Chicago and got a-hold of that nice horse. He was enjoyin that chickin leg like a Jeff Ruby rib eye.
