Good morning! Who ya got in Wing Bowl 23 today?

Now, if these competitive eaters go to a Hyper Bowl party this Sunday and are served some Buffalo wingsz, you think they’ll throw the tray or plate of wingsz across the room and have PTSD episode? Also, do you think they’ll skip the carrots and celery during the competition on Friday? The bleu cheese dressing? The pitchers of watery, domestic beer? Eat ’em up!

Free ones: Rundown…

Aqueduct 5
Gulfstream Park Proper 4, 5, 7, 8, 10
Santa Anita 4

Pay-side (Weekend/Weekday): Today…

Fair Grounds 1, 2, 5, 6, 8

Oaklawn 2, 7
Sunland 8
Tampa 1, 2, 4, 5, 7
Turfway 4, 5, 7
Turf Paradise 4

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Looks good for #6 Deficit Hawk in Aqueduct 7.

Over in Turf Paradise 3, #2 Hip Ninety Three is a live third-choice on your morning line.

Yesterday’s Activity: Two standout races from your Thursday.

Fair Grounds 7 had Bonkersmate Dark Brahms winning at $43.40 straight.

Dark Brahms was not fancied by the conventional V6 Betting Line in a race that was originally contentious, before the raceday scratches were taken into account. In the early-morning scan, Dark Brahms nonetheless deserved some attention via the pretty-good 84 he scored in the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis. Dark Brahms was 12-1 on your morning line while rallying hard to win by 4; his complete LifeLiner array was 62-63-84.

Over at Oaklawn in the seventh, four horseys were touted, three of the first-timers. Two of those debuts sandwiched the touted first-timer for your trizacta. The winner was First Bonkersmate Tappin Vegas ($20.40 up top) with the top-touted experienced runner Swagner, 7-1, completing your winning $328.20 exacta — not a misprint; 9-1 over 7-1 in a 12-horse field, yet it paid $328.20; multiplying the win price by the place price yielded 120; you think this was an overlooked comboa? Comboa! Twenty-six-to-1 debut issue First Splash, 26-1, finished third, and the $1 triactor paid $2,990.60.

As always, Welcome to The Home of The Runner-Up Finish, this time nearly led by Bonkersmate Wise Crossing, beaten a dirty nose at 12-1 in Race 8 at Fair Grounds. The winner was 5-1 and OK on LifeLiner, and the saver perfecta yielded $184 even. This time if you multipled the win price by the place price, you got 208. Maybe an underlay this time?

As always, hope you had any or all of ’em!
