How ’bout last night’s ‘Hawaii Five-O’? Any time you can work in a plausible Morimoto cameo on network TV, you have to applaud. Arigato!

The only regret we have regarding Morimoto is that he didn’t give that poseur Bobbie Fray a clean-sweep in the two transoceanic battles on the original ‘Iron Chef’. Boobbie Fray’s dancing on the counter on which gourmet meals were being prepared was an utter disgrace to food-handlers everywhere. Utter disgrace. Poseur Boobbie Fray. Morimoto = authenticity. Boobbie Fray = disgraceful dancing on food countersz. The Chairman truly should have summarily held him to the code of Kitchen Stadium honour and made him perform ritual seppuku after that disgrace.
