Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Delta 8 finds #5 Cool Song looking best as the second-choice on the morning line.

Yesterday’s Activity: One good one over at Fair Grounds, courtesy of sole-touted Banduceus in Race 2.

Banduceus, a first-time starter with a good-enough connection line of 10pc/17pc/10pc as the second-choice on the V6 Betting Line at Fair Odds of 4-1 in a contentious race, rallied like the champion he most certainly is on the way to becoming (from humble beginning at the $15,000 maiden-claiming level!), lunging to win by a neck at 20¢ shy of 25-1; he was 8-1 on the morning line, and paid $51.60 up top.
