betfail

And BetFail remains BetFail…

A year-on tomorrow, The End of HollyPark…R.I.P.

Also dead, your 2014 Philalala Igglesz. Just like a year ago, a couple of missed field goals will keep them from prolonging their season. Where’s Tony Franklin & Dick Vermeil when you need ’em? Hard times for the Southeast Penna. pro-sports fansz. Hard-up city these days. Keystone Racetrack a lone bright spot.

Free ones: Rundown…

Gulfstream Park Proper 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10
Los Alamitos Thoroughbreds (Daytime) 5, 9

Pay-side: Today…

Fair Grounds 8, 9
Sunland 7, 10
Tampa 5, 6, 9, 10
Turfway 1, 3, 5, 6, 9
Turf Paradise 4, 5, 6

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Only two for your Sunday, both at Fair Grounds, and one of them, Race 8, is on the pay-side.

Yesterday’s Activity: Earlier in the week, Gulfstream was running hot. The last two days, it’s been the Laurel Park in Laurel, Md.

Race 7 there was a doozie. In it, Bonkersmate Last Confession, a first-time starter at 8-1 on your morning line, admitted to larceny while winning at $67-even up top. V6 could not separate out three of the first-timers, setting them up at Fair Odds of 3-1 or 3½-1 in a contentious race. ’Confession had a sufficient connection line (18pc/14pc/17pc) and the edge was obviously there.

The 8-5 fave was the top experienced runner in the field, and that may have tempered some enthusiasm, though the staunchest of longshot sadists will not want to have missed this one.

WMF Report:

Early
Gulfstream 6f, 1m
Los Alamitos Thoroughbreds 6f
Keystone 6f
Portland 6f
Tampa 6f
Turfway 6f
Turf Paradise 6f

Nocturnal Submission: Sifting through the wreckage…

Thank you. Best wishes. Goodbye. Bye-bye.
