Excellent programme here…

Chop-chop, my good man, chop-chop!

Much more reasoned and nuanced than Jim Cramer (the hypester, not the HDW maven) or fat oinkster Cavuto or Varney. Ugh.

Free ones: Rundown…

Aqueduct 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
Los Alamitos Thoroughbreds (Daytime) 2, 3

N.B. Overnite scan ONLY. Raceday scratches or surface-switches or both may change these advisories. Thank you!

Pay-side: Today…

Fair Grounds 2, 4, 6, 8
Hawthorne 4, 6, 9
Laurel 7
Remington 1, 2, 6, 7, 9
Tampa 4, 7, 9
Turfway 1, 2, 4, 6, 8
Woodbine 5, 6, 9, 10

N.B. Overnite scan ONLY. Raceday scratches or surface-switches or both may change these advisories. Thank you!

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: None today, but your streaking Philalala Seventeen-Sickserrs will be shooting for back-to-back jacks (to the good) against the beleaguered OKC Thundersz. Good seats still available!

Yesterday’s Activity: Yup, the early-meet fireworks went off again yesterday.

On Wednesday, it was the Tampa Bay meet, still in its infancy, that produced the shock.

On Thursday, it was the Turfway meet — on its Opening Night, no less; you can’t get much earlier in the meet than that, eh?! — that came through big.

Indeed, there were nine races on the first card of the winter 2014-2015 meet, and eight of those were won by horses paying better than $10 up top; even wilder, there were five winners returning $30 or more. Yow!

On the touting side here, Ridge Dance ($14.20) in Race 1 and sole-selected Slavic Princess ($30.40) in Race 4 did the business. Good job!

Gulf Proper opens Saturday, and the just-mentioned Tampa and Turfway continue to sort things out. The longshot win mutuels should continue apace. Have at ’em!

As well, Los Alamitos Thoroughbreds (Daytime) and Fair Grounds have just started, so keep your other eye on those bad agents.

Nocturnal Submission: Sifting through the wreckage…

Thank you. Best wishes. Goodbye. So long now.
