Hollywood Bowl season again, another year, another summer. Last night, the sultry crooner Mr. Chris Isaak was on the bill, and the ladies were swooning. Have always considered Mr. Lloyd Cole an art-damaged, more cerebral version of Chris Isaak.

#2 War Dancer appears to be worthy chalk in AP 7. Same goes for #5 Grandeur in Bel 9. And for #6 Princess of Sylmar in Delpark 9.

Cold-puncher’s obvious perfecta box in Gulf 9: #7 Dekabrist, #5 Wicked Rascal.

Slight edge to #1 Doublicious in Suf 7. Large advantage to #2 Seffeara in WO 6.

Also looking strong is #2 Rosie’s Hurricane in Les Bois 6.

However, the fave might be out of it in Cby 8, with live longshots #3 Red Zeus, #8 Stachys, #2 Az Ridge in with reasonable chances.

Over to Canandaigua now for Race 7 and the potential upsetters #4 Lady’s Smart Alec, #1 Fox Rox.

Also appearing wild-open is Keystone 8, and #7 Sharp Sensation, #1 Mongolian Saturday (!) have the bona fides.
