Today’s Stakes Pageantry: There was one today at the Aqueduct, Race 3 as always on their weekdays. No good. Couldn’t understand the 1.15-1 fave. Sorry.

Yesterday’s Activity: Not much good to report, except for one honourable mention — aided by disqualification of the original runner-up — from Chi Chi&rsuqo;s Pride in Race 7 at Laurel.

Chi Chi’s Pride, 15-1 on the morning line, was bet-down to 11-1 in real life, and qualified via a second-best LifeLiner Speed Column score of 96.

The 5-1 race winner was also OK on LifeLiner, putting the $108.20 saver exacta into play.
