Yesterday’s Activity: Bleak, but Dan’s Gold prevents a total-perdition day in the eighth at the Aqueduct.

Dan’s Gold, 20-1 on the morning line and second-choice on the conventional Betting Line at Fair Odds of 3½-1 in a contentious race, was one of two LifeLiner Speed Column qualifiers. Dan’s Gold, complete LifeLiner array of 97-99-88, ran to that characterization, attending the pace throughout before drawing off to win by 3¾ at the wire at $23.60 up top.
