Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Only one again, and it was another early event at Aqueduct, Race 3, the Spooky Mulder. #1 Dads Caps had the bona fides. He did not win, finishing second. Sorry!

Yesterday’s Activity: The feature at the BetFail yesterday, Race 7, and the free, sole-touted Wittgenstein went off at 30¢ shy of 20-1 on the Inglewood toteboard.

At 12-1 on the morning line, Wittgenstein was disregarded on the Betting Line but OK on LifeLiner Speed Column: 82. Not quite good enough, beating all except the winner, to whom Wittgenstein was three-parts of a length inferior. As always, Welcome to The Home of The Runner-Up Finish!
