How do we break into this facility?

How do we break into this facility?

All right, all right, ya Netflicksz-loversz! We have now gone over to the dark side, colored bright orange!

After many steadfast years of never having seen even one episode of SouthFark, DailyShow, HipsterFriendsz, AmishBreakingBadMen, we now have seen the first two episodes of the show in which the beautiful and talented Taylor Schilling (be still, heart! be still!) enters the correctional system as an inmate.

Granted, this is not about our stubbornly and finally buying into the wholesale trend toward one-hour TV dramas. That is not it at all. Rather, we simply like to watch the beautiful and talented Taylor Schilling as much as possible. Had Bryan Cranberry or Jon HammsBeer or Peter Squidinklage more resembled the beautiful and talented Taylor Schilling, we might have ended up watching one of their shows. But they do not, so we are stuck with the beautiful and talented Taylor Schilling. Thank you, thank you, thank you. (All right, all right, West Hollywood! Pipe down over there. You can have your Jon HammsBeer!)

Bonus: This new show starring the beautiful and talented Taylor Schilling does not seem as overwrought as its contemporaries.

The beautiful and talented Taylor Schilling, Laura Dern, Laura Linney are all in these one-hour drama shows, but we held out for the beautiful and talented Taylor Schilling. All three of these leafy blondes remind us of a certain someone; but of those three, it’s the beautiful and talented Taylor Schilling who reminds us of this certain someone the most. Miss ya!

N.B. Please. If you think we are late to noticing the beauty and talent of the beautiful and talented Taylor Schilling, well, here you go…

New Kent, Va.!

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Bel 7 & 9 and BFHollyPark, R.I.P. 2 & 9 on the free page.

AP 9 & 11 and Cnl 4, 5 & 6 on the pay-side.

Uh-oh. Vaunted Triple Threat Horsey in AP 8, the Grade III Modesty. That horsey is #5 Strathnaver. Ditto #8 He’s Got Talent in Cnl 3, the Chenery.

Single-type call in Cnl 7, the Grade II Va. Dby. We side with #5 Jack Milton. As well, #8 Ile St. Molly has the credentials in Delpark 8, the Grade II Delaware Oaks.

Wild stuff in Cby 7: #1 Polar Plunge and #7 Kune Kune are in a nice-priced Bonkers Box-type scenario

Looks good for third-choice on the morning line #2 Via Villaggio in Sac’to 8, the Jerry Brown Vase.

A total mess in Tdn 7, but we go with #4 Catlaunch.

Yesterday’s Activity: All right, all right, ya parimutuel heroes!

King of the NetCapper Bulliesz special in the finale at Belmont, courtesy of top-touted Opposing Parties, who was 8-1 on the morning line and 30 ¢ below that on the toteboard.

Over at the Calder, Dakota Eyes went to the post as one of those vaunted Triple Threat Horseys. She was 8-1 on the morning line and bet-down to a slimmer 4½-1.

Another King of the NetCapper Bulliesz score in the last at Arlington. Top-touted Rojo Verde grabbed the green (in all manner of speaking, especially since it was a turf sprint). Rojo Verde was 10-1 on the morning line and 7-1 in real life. The Bonkersmate was 10-1 There’s No Telling, third-place finisher, with the interloper not being gettable for the trifecta. That ever happen to yourself?

Guess what. Another King of the NetCapper Bulliesz spectacular, this time at Colonial. At least this was one race they allowed to remain on the New Kent turf. K T’s Golden Year was the Bonkersmate, second-touted, 12-1 on the morning line and, when the bell rang, only 80 ¢ off that price. He ran up-close and personal (LifeLiner array of 84-94-92), and scored clear at $24.40. As with all the previous winners, no joy in the exotics pools. Cazart!

Another first-place finish, now at Ellis Park, this time in the middle (well, the numerical middle, Race 4 of 8). Takepointsandrun, 10-1 on the morning line and sent off at actual odds of 6-1, rallied like the champion he should have been (LifeLiner: 65-66-99), paying $14-even.
