It’s Time!

You know how good it feels after you take your car in for an oil change or tuneup? You drive out of the service bay and you can tell your ride is smooth and humming, nice and tight.

Or after you get your tennis racquet restrung, your skis waxed or your basketball or football pumped up with air — same feeling. Or treating yourself to a massage or a facial — you come out of there glowing like a new person.

Your All-In-One V6 software is no different. It always appreciates a good freshening-up, and there’s no better way to refresh it than with the latest and greatest set of Cynthia Publishing Company par times. They’re up, they’re good and they’re shipping right now. Time(s) for a change!

Sure! And we’ve compiled them just so you and your program can know by how much they changed. We put the pars in at the start of the month and the differences are striking. It always pays to keep up-to-date. You, your V6 software and your bankroll are bound to appreciate it.

In short, whatever new and important happened on the racetracks of North America in 2012, your brand-spanking-new 2013 Cynthia Publishing Company PARS PLUS par times and bonus materials will guarantee you stay on top and ahead of the game.

And there’s no better time to update! Racing is big again. How ’bout that Orb! Can he maintain his dominance at Pimlico? All the lovely warm-weather tracks are coming on line. The weather’s finally getting gorgeous and clement, a perfect time to rediscover the game you love so much — with the software you love so much.

So get your annual software tuneup, restring your V6, massage some new data and life into your high-tech handicapping methods. Order your All-In-One V6 2013 PARS PLUS update today and start reaping the benefits straightaway.

P.S. Same applies to The Handy Capper and Fast Capper updates, too!

Pars in General

Maybe you aren’t of the high-tech persuasion. Or maybe you are, but prefer the DIY approach. You still need the pars. They give you the vital baseline information you need to make accurate and intelligent track-to-track, distance-to-distance and other necessary adjustments.

In the acclaimed book version of 2013 PARS PLUS, we show you how to do all of that and much, much more. After reading this essential book and its supplemental materials, you will come away with a powerful, proven and logical approach for projecting running times specific to today’s race, no matter the track, distance or class level of the previous races.

In short, you’ll be able to convert with accuracy, precision and, most of all, complete confidence, that one-mile race from Del Mar to today’s seven-furlong dash at Hollywood Park. Or you’ll be able to see how that six-furlong hotshot from the Aqueduct inner track figures to stretch-out to today’s mile-and-a-sixteenth at Churchill. In sum, no matter the conditions of the race you want to rate, you will know with 100 percent certainty what to expect in terms of how today’s race should unfold.

With pars, you get to project in real time, not some made-up, arbitrary rating scale. You know for sure that a :45.0 half-mile is significantly faster than one in :45.3. It’s tough to tell with figures and ratings. Time is much easier to deal with. And now you’ll be able to do just that.

Or if you are happy with your own homegrown software or spreadsheet-manipulation technique, simply plug in the electronic, tab-delimited-text pars from our Programmer’s Pars CD-ROM. They fit quickly and quietly into Excel or any other similar program, and you’re on your way. You’ll have pars for more than 80 North American tracks, all specialty “inner” and “about” courses included. And you can use them to your specifications. We report, you decide. We provide the data, you choose how to use it.

P.S. Ours is the par-time product that combines quality, quantity and, of course, affordability. Get the original and still the best — the Cynthia Publishing Company par times — jam-packed with the outstanding PLUS features at a better-than-competitive price. Otherwise, you absolutely paid too much!

A New Message Board (Ho-Ho)

Maybe it will do OK, maybe not. But it is up and running now and already with some long-form (relatively speaking) articles much better than what these message boards normally contain. It’s all up for your enjoyment as well as for your comment. It could be a waste of time or not. We don’t think so — it’s in the way that you use it, and we are pretty certain none of our readership will go overboard 50,000 posts down the road!
