Giving Tuesday, eh? Says who? Why must everything be programmed these days? Where’s the Spontaneity? Where’s the Wonder?

Many fear the Government, but the marketing gurus also are good at Manufacturing Propaganda. “Gray Thursday”. “Black Friday”. “Small Bidness Saturday”. “Cyber Monday”. “Giving Tuesday”. Why?

It’s an outgrowth of overscheduling of the youngsters. There’s no more room or space to breathe, or to just be. “Violin on Monday, Soccer on Tuesday, Drama Klub on Wednesday…”. The End Result is Hypertension at Age 40 & Neurosis in Young Adulthood.

Then again, how is it possible to defend “Monday Boxing”, “Tuesday Sniping”? Cazart! All right, all right, Rory, ya got us! Well, at least we are not asking you to do something, to dictate how you should behave.

Groupthink is dangerous! Remove yourself from the Echo Chamber! It’s always best to keep your own counsel. We don’t advocate you to Go Galt, but we do ask you to step back from the hype and ask yourself, “How come? How come you want me to do this”?

If you can ignore the bombast and repetition of their message and still manage to live with yourself, congratulations. You’re doing OK.
