Today’s Stakes Pageantry: None this time, but the Yanksz are on the precipice of the physical cliff. Nobody’s getting any hits (save the living legend Ichiro), and Detroit hurlers are just too good, no matter what happened in Game 1. CC Sabathia was seen weeping openly in the dugout last night. Maybe not, but it would be understandable if he did, given the impotence of those teammates of his who’ve taken part in this series so far. Geo. Steinbrenner would not have stood for it. He would have gone into the clubhouse and told his employees that they needed to have a certain pair of male genitalia. Thank you to Sparky Lyle for documenting this memorable episode in his book The Bronx Zoo.

With that lede, we were just setting it up for this sort of response. The performer in the video looks like he could ride a winner or two at the Jerome County Fair or the E. Oregon Livestock Show.
