First Post, Part II: Thursday, April 7, 2011

Today was gonna be different from all other (recent) days. We were gonna let bygones be bygones and break some matzah again with the Big Aqueduct.

But then just as we were about to raise our cup of Kedem Grape Juice to Elijah and all the rest of the Tribe, the Angel of Death passed over our web host, and the free picks page went — poof! — into the electronic ether. Oy gevalt! Fortunately, this here blog folder was spared of murrain, boils and other assorted locusts. Praise Allah!

There was much wailing and grinding of teeth about the free picks page, even more so than usual. So we improvised and put it over on Part I (the post preceding this one) of this here HiddenEntries blog thing.

Hopefully you missed the second at Gulfstream; however, living up to our penchant as The Home of The Runner-Up Finish, the recommended #2 Wild Hero, 10-1 in the second at the aforementioned Akkeduckt, came second to the chalk, with the perfector paying back $33-something. So maybe it was not that good to miss the second at Jamaica Park. Maybe, maybe not.

So the free ones are on the preceding post this time, till the webhost straightens things out. Here’s the pay-side.

Rundown
Pimlico 2, 4, 8
Oaklawn 2, 3, 10
Golden Gate 5, 6, 8

Looking OK at Pim and OP, but GG is a more difficult proposition. As usual.

WMF Report: Still at WMF 164, and thus continued speedy, at Gulfstream 6f. …For the come-from-behinders, WMF 25 at 1m (T) at Santa Anita should be favorable. …

Bye-bye. We go search for the afikoman now. Glenn Becksz prolly beat us to it.
