Your Saturday Stakes Sweep: Nov. 27, 2010

zOMG. Let’s try this properly now.

And we don’t mean only punching the Publish button straight away! “We want a winner, not a bankroll-thinner!” Or something like that.

At Aqueduct, the eighth is the Grade II Demoiselle. It looks like a slam-dunker for #8 No Such Word.

Yet another pumpkin-pie cincher headed your way from Churchill, the 11th there, the Grade II Ky. Jockey Club. #5 Astrology appears as the solid single.

Hollypark (Proper) continues the strong-top-pick theme in its seventh, the Grade III Generous. It’s #8 Comma to the Top who gets the top billing.

Aha! We finally get a chance to speculate, this time at Woodbine, the ninth, the Kingarvie. Here’s hoping with the zany trio (any one of ’em will do!) of #1 Isabella Bay, #9 Pender Harbour and #6 Lonesome Cherokee. Kudos to our Canadian brethren!

At Zia, we will play against morning-line fave (unfortunately, these morning lines at smaller tracks are none too reliable) #8 No Other Tone in the 10th, the Distaff. #2 Petition the Lady and #10 Perfectly Nice get the upset nods.

Extra for experts: It’s the ninth at Pharx, the Pa. Nursery. A real wide-open race in prospect, so shoot for the capable prices, which from this corner should be #8 Trade Secret and #3 Clifford’s Joy and #1 Colin O’Ryan.

Best wishes for a prosperous Saturday!
