Five Years On Now…

Hard to believe, but it’s been half a decade now since the passing of Mistah Dick Mitchell. R.I.P.

In case you missed it the first time, here is the original obituary as posted on the website from Nov. 26, 2005. Memories.

Richard, if you can hear us, we miss you. We hope we’re picking enough longshots for ya! No, we still are not extroverted; no, we still cannot pretend to be the level of teacher you are. We prefer to detach, observe and comment, as befits our quasi-journalistic nature. Still, if we have anything to do with it, you and your foundation for value-based handicapping and wagering will not soon be forgotten. We crush races when we can — eternally!

Old Master, rest easy!

One Response to Five Years On Now…

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr Mitchell nor sitting in live on one of his seminars, but feel like I’ve known him for some time now from listening to him on cassettes and viewing the vcr and dvds CPC puts out. I’m sure Mr Mitchell is very proudly smiling down upon all of you at CPC for carrying on his legacy in the fine fashion that you are. Thank you Mr Mitchell (RIP) & CPC! Keep on keepin’ on!!
