A Fair Question

They’re missing the bigger issues of this day, surely.

OK. So you know how if it’s the Super Bowl or Game 7 of a championship series and they have all those “World Champion” caps and shirts all printed up and ready to wear at the end?

Certainly, there’s a bunch of similar “Zenyatta perfect: 20-for-20” gear awaiting the world.

Hate to be a killjoy, but what if she doesn’t wind up unblemished at the end of the day? Are they going to hand out all those caps and shirts to underprivileged youth in Guatemala and Outer Mongolia? Supposedly, that’s what happened to all those “New England Patriots Super Bowl XLII Champions” shirts, all those “New York Yankees 2001 World Series Champions” hats.

How will that work out? They can probably auction them off on eBay for charity, a grand idea.

But we’ll see.
