Nice Writing on Zenyatta

This is by Jane Smiley, a Pulitzer Prize winner, for Personal Ensign’s sake!

Hope you picked this one up in the New York Times the other day. A good piece, combining poetry and research, two things all worthwhile commentary must incorporate.

A sample:

She unleashes those longer-than-the-longest strides, and she flows like a shark around or through her company. Sometimes she wins by a few lengths, sometimes by a neck. But the look on her face always indicates that you were the one who was worried, not her.
