WMF Report: Monday, Oct. 11, 2010

As for your best overall speed-on-the-lead track in North America, try Laurel. There you’ll find a good WMF 150 at 6f, and a reasonably spritely WMF 130 at the one-turn 1m. But beware at the 7f, where the WMF 26 could mean that no lead is safe.

Canadians could have the figurative holiday — to match their literal one: Happy Thanksgiving! — by playing up front at 6½f at Northlands

Suffolk is back up and running, and the late double (both races at 6f) could be a speed-fest.

Small samples early in the meet at Turf Paradise, where initial trends are moving strongly toward the front.
