‘They’re off!’

Well, Friends of Thoroughbred Racing in North America, Season 32 of America’s Favourite Quiz Programme is now in the books, and in case you missed it, the opening titles this year (all 230 episodes!) featured a snap of a field of equines competing on the grass somewhere. It was a perfect visual transition: one patrician-type pastime (the horses) yielding to another (Jeopardy!). Thank you to The Powers That Be for putting racing in the same frame as Jeopardy!.
