In the other, it’s Paris Saint-Germain against…whoever emerged victorious in the Real Madrid – Arsenal tie, which had the Gunners up 3-nil after the opening leg last week in No. London. The Madrilenos would need to score at least four more goals than The Arsenal this evening at The Bernabeu. That did not happen, with The Arsenal actually increasing their aggregate margin, 5-1, after tonight’s 2-1 away win. So, then, it’s your No. London Arse completing the 2025 UEFA Champions League semifinal brackets. The night’s first goal can be seen at the 6:30 mark, with the clincher coming at 10:06. #COYG Come on, you Gunners!

The game was tense for the first half, and then Declan Rice produced two magical moments from his blessed right foot after the restart. Mikel Merino added a third goal, and the Gunners have to be considered heavy favorites to advance to the semifinals, even with the second leg looming in Spain in a week’s time. For the set-piece beauties, scrub on over to the 3:05 mark and then the 4:07 mark.

Speaking of cake, it is looking more and more like a ‘let them eat cake!’ moment for these United States of ’murriKKKa, so let’s not worry about cavities & glucose monitors and snack ourselves to oblivion. There’s worse ways to go!
